On the Other-Side

I attended a wedding for my husband's co-worker on June 28th. It was nice to attend a wedding, I haven't been to one in quite awhile. Even though I had an early start that day at 4:00 am! It was worth the lack of sleep. It was a very nice Philipino wedding, which I had never been to one before.

Amber's Hair and Make-up trial

Yesterday was Amber's hair and make-up trial. After the trial she was going to get her Engagement pictures done. It rained in the morning, but cleared up in the afternoon, so it worked out well!

Angel's Wedding - August 24, 2008

I headed to White Oaks Resort & Spa to do hair and make-up for Angel for her early morning wedding. Her wedding started at 10:00 am, and hopefully she was able to have it outside still, as it had previously rained, but hopefully it held out for the ceremony.

Elizabeth's Hair and Make-up Trial

Elizabeth had her hair and make-up trial on Saturday, August 23rd. After her trial she was heading to her food tasting at the Burlington Convention Centre.

Alona's Wedding - August 17, 2008

Another beautiful day for Alona's wedding! We started getting Alona ready at 6:00 am so she could be ready for 8:30, as she was heading into Toronto to have pictures taken before the ceremony. What a busy house! When I arrived at 6:00 am, I counted 10 cars! But everyone was still sleeping while we were working away ;)

After Kristen's I headed home to meet up with Grace, her MIL and SIL and niece (flower girl) for her hair and make-up trial.

Kristen's Wedding - August 16, 2008

After Lyndsey's wedding I headed back to Burlington to do Kristen and her Maid of Honour's Make-Up. Unfortunately, I don't have any pictures right now. My husband, Mike, of Gibson Precision Photography took a few of me applying the make-up, but we didn't get a finished picture of them. Hopefully Kristen will send me some pictures, and I will post a few of the ones we did get shortly. Congratulations Kristen!!!!

Lyndsey's Wedding - August 16, 2008

We then headed to Mississauga to do Lyndsey and her bridesmaids hair. Lyndsey had 7 bridesmaids!!! What a beautiful day it was! Which was nice for her as her wedding was at the Mississauga Golf Club. I didn't get a picture of one of the Bridesmaids, Val. Hopefully Lyndsey will send me some pictures of her and her bridesmaids.

Another Busy Weekend...

It started off with Christine in Toronto for her brother-in-law's wedding! It was an early morning start, she needed to be ready for for pictures at 8:30 am! I hope you got some rest on Sunday Christine!

Cammy's Hair and Make-up Trial - Aug.10.08

Cammy has been growing her hair out so that she can have long hair for her wedding in October. She will be getting married at Olympia Banquet Centre, and I am a little biased, as I also got married at Olympia, and LOVE it there!

Kathi's Wedding - Aug.10.08

After Elyanne's wedding I went to meet Kathi to do her make-up and her bridesmaid. Kathi actually got married on August 8th, but was having her reception on August 10th in Etobicoke.

I started the morning off getting Elyanne ready for her big day! Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperating for her outdoor wedding at a Winery, but she looked beautiful and was in great spirits! I also got to meet her now husband, what a lovely couple!

Sarah's wedding - Aug.9.08

I woke up bright and early to start Sarah and her two bridesmaids hair at 5:30 am. Sarah booked some rooms at McMaster University, to get ready at. Sarah had an early morning wedding that was being held at the Burlington Art Centre. It rained a lot on Saturday, but not until the afternoon, so I hoped it held out for her long enough for the ceremony and pictures!

Joan's Wedding - Aug.8.08

Today I headed to the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto with Joy and Stephanie to do the hairstyles for Joan's wedding. What a busy room! Joan is a sweetheart and it was a pleasure working with her and her wedding party.
