Carrie's Wedding
I previously mentioned in Carrie's hair and make-up trial post, that we went to the same high school together. This morning I headed to Carrie's mom's house in Scarborough, Ontario, and driving in that area brought back so many memories! The weather today is overcast, but it wasn't raining, so that was nice. Carrie's reception is being held at Fantasy Farm. Her little almost three year old niece was the flower girl and was very sweet. Unfortunately she has Cancer, and will hopefully be getting her "Make a Wish" to go to Disneyland this June for her birthday. I was going to put some complimentary make-up on her, but she just wanted to watch everyone else get their make-up done. I also did Carrie's Mother-In-Law's make-up, but she went home to get dressed, and I didn't get a chance to take a photo. Hopefully when Carrie gets her photos she will send some to me.

Colette's Wedding
Today I headed over to Colette's home to do her hair and make-up for her wedding today. Colette's ceremony took place at the Oakville Greenhouse, and the reception was a combined wedding reception and her parents surprise 50th anniversary party at Colette's home. What a beautiful day!!

Gibson Precision Photography - Summer Engagement Story Contest
Gibson Precision Photography is holding a pretty cool contest for the next couple of weeks! Check out the information below:
With the beautiful weather this week, it is becoming more apparent that summer is around the corner! What better way to celebrate then with a special promotion/contest? I want to share with everyone a very exciting event happening at Gibson Precision Photography, in which I would like to invite everyone to participate.
Gibson Precision Photography will be holding a "Summer Engagement Story Contest" which will be run off of Facebook.
Simply join my contest page located at the bottom of this post, post a photo of you "the couple" and write a small entry telling us about how you met, how did the proposal occur, and anything about yourselves you would like to share.
Entries may be funny, embarrassing, romantic or simply downright entertaining. Whatever your story may be, we welcome you to share it with the rest of the contest members and voters.
Submissions can be voted on by members of this board, and by visiting the contest Facebook group and voting on the entries by leaving comments on the photo's, as well the entries will be voted on among the other Gibson Precision Photography associates and staff.
Details:
We have set aside 3 days, one in each of the summer months, June, July and August, for Engagement Session Shoots. There will be multiple timeslots available to win on each chosen day. Timeslots will run between 1-2 hoursin length at a location chosen by Gibson Precision Photography. All Entries must be received by May 16, 2009, and the winners will be announced on May31st, 2009.
What do you win you might ask...An "Engagement Session" running 1-2 hours with Mike Gibson of Gibson Precision Photography, 4X6 proofs presented in an Album, and an online Ordering gallery for 30 days. A value of $200.00!!!!

Sondra's Wedding - April 18, 2008
What a beautiful day for a lovely spring wedding! Laura and I headed into Mississauga early this morning for Sondra's wedding. We went to the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Mississauga where they had a few rooms rented. What a nice hotel!

Colette's Hair Trial
Colette is getting married in a couple of weeks! The Ceremony will be held at the Oakville Greenhouse, and she will be having the reception at her house. I will keep my fingers crossed for nice weather so that people can be outside as well.
